Lewis Gene Roberts

Lewis Gene Roberts, 88 of Cave City died Saturday, September 29, 2018. He was born March 17, 1930 at Florala, Alabama to Lewis Pasco and Eula Eudora (Fleming) Roberts.  He was a retired U.S. Navy Veteran and served from the occupation of Japan through three tours of duty in Vietnam.  He was of the Baptist faith.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Lewis Michael Roberts and one daughter, Brenda Louise Waldrip.

Survivors include his wife Shirley Roberts of the home; two sons, Steven Christopher Roberts and wife Joanne of Jacksonville, Florida and Phillip Edward Roberts and  wife Jennifer of San Diego, California; four grandchildren; several great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be Friday, October 5, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at the Qualls Funeral Home Chapel in Cave City with Bro. Bobby Sanders officiating.

Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.

Honorary pallbearers are Dr. Andy Davidson, Dr. Muhammad Khan and Dr. John Allgood.
