Geneva Langford

Geneva Elms Langford age 94 of Batesville died Saturday July 28, 2007 at Hernando, Mississippi. She was born November 26, 1912 at Locust Grove, AR to Henry Lowell and Cuba Alta Annie (Lovell) Elms. She was a homemaker and a member of the Jamestown Methodist Church.She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Russel Langford, three brothers, James Elms, Nelson ELms and Pete Elms and four sisters, Nona Mae Elms, Medrith McClain, Nellie Satterwhite and Madeline Smith.Survivors include two sons, Charles Langford of Plano, TX and Henry Langford of New Jersey, one daughter COnnie Schuster of Hernando, MS, eight grandchildren, Russell Whitaker of New York City, Marjorie Smith of Olive Branch, MS, Bryce Whitaker of Memphis, TN, Bryan Whitaker of Arlington, TN, Tracy Langford of Memphis, TN, Christy Spann of Little Rock, Taylor Bullington of Bentonville and Paula Langford of New Jersey, three great grandchildren, Tyler Smith of Olive Branch, MS, Josh Spann and Sammy Spann both of Little Rock, several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.Funeral services will begin Tuesday July 31, 2007 at 2:00 .m. at the Qualls Batesville Funeral Service Chapel in Batesville with Bro. Bobby Shepherd officiating. Burial will follow in the Locust Grove Cemetery located at Locust Grove with arrangements by Qualls Batesville Funeral Service of Batesville.Visitation will begin Monday July 30, 2007 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m.Pallbearers will be Russell Whitaker, Bryan Whitaker, Bryce Whitaker, Tracy Langford, Billy Spann and Tony Smith.Honorary pallbearer is Tyler Smith.
