Myrtle Williams age 89 of Sidney died Saturday September 8, 2007 at the Pioneer Nursing Home in Melbourne. She was born March 28, 1918 at Mount Pleasant, Arkansas to Robert J. and Bertie Elizabeth (Breeden) Langston. She was a homemaker and a member of the Sage Baptist Church.She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband D.C. Williams, three brothers, Shelby Langston, S.D. Langston and Melton Langston, four sisters Ruvena Fitzsimmons, Lorene Reynolds, Pauline Langston and Modess (Collie) Stowers.Survivors include one son Dennis P. Williams of Melbourne, four daughters Dean Crowson and Veda Sims both of Benton, Robby Fish of Aztec, New Mexico and Delberta Geiger of Sidney, two brothers Bobby Langston of Melbourne and Doyne Langston of Sage, one sister Monteen Barksdale of Wenatchee, WA, eight grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.Pallbearers will be Carl Fish Jr., Frank Geiger Jr., Troy Sims, Dan Geiger, Kelly Anderson and Casey Shaw.
