Roland Hall, age 81 of Bethesda died Tuesday September 11, 2007 at his home. He was born August 10, 1926 at Lunenburg, Arkansas to Walter Henry and Mollie (Brooks) Hall. He was a retired carpenter, worked for ConAgra Foods in Batesville for eighteen years and was a member of the Mount Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church.He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Short Hall and Bill Hall and two sisters, Eda Mae Hall and Freda Hall.Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Hazel Haddock Hall of the home, one son Cliff Hall of Bethesda, two daughters, Rita Allender and Debbie O'Neal both of Batesville, one brother, Vernon Hall of Independence MO, one sister Edith Ruminer of Batesville, four grandchildren Tonya Ferrell of Zion, Brady Allender, Blake Allender and Heather O'Neal all of Batesville, two step-granddaughters, Amber Barnett and Ashley Dowell both of Batesville, four great grandchildren, Brittney Ferrell and Hunter Ferrell both of Zion, Makala Dowell of Cave City and Kaley Gallager of Bethesda, two step great grandsons, Jordan Fryman and Hunter Fryman both of Batesville, several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.Funeral service will begin Friday September 14, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. at the Mount Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church located at Mount Pleasant with Bro. J. W. Roach and Bro. Charles Barnett officiating. Burial will follow in the Barren Fork Cemetery located at Mount Pleasant with arrangements by Qualls Batesville Funeral Service of Batesville.Visitation will begin Thursday September 13, 2007 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m.
