Doris Foy Curtis

Doris Foy Curtis, age 79 of Sulphur Rock died Tuesday, February 16, 2010 at a Batesville nursing home. She was born August 15, 1930 at Asper Mont, Texas to Joseph Earl and Hester Walker McEwen. She was a homemaker.She was preceded in death by her parets, her husband, Rod Curtis, three brothers Noel McEwen, Lucian McEwen and Gerald McEwen and one sister Lavern McEwen Klusman.Survivors include a son Eddie Ziegenhirt of Ava, Missouri, two daughters, Marvell Zeigenhirt of Batesville and Jackie Nole of Nashville, Arkansas, two granddaughters, Rachel Elms and Rebecca Elms of Batesville, a grandson, Rodney Nolte of Nashville, Arkansas, several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.A private memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements by Qualls Batesville Funeral Service.No visitation is planned.
