James "Red" Baker

James “Red” Baker age 89 of Batesville went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, December 24, 2014. He was born on July 9, 1925 at St. Joe, Arkansas to Ervin and Bertha (Sutterfield) Baker. He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters and one brother. Survivors include his wife of 63 years; two sons, Dean Baker and wife Donna of Batesville and Delbert Baker of Tallahassee, Florida; two daughters, Lesia Lancaster and husband Mark of Batesville and Brenda Standridge of Russellville; six grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. A private family service is planned. No visitation is planned.
