Alexandra Maria Harris

Alexandra Maria Harris, 85, of Cave City passed away October 20, 2025 at Batesville. She was born June 3, 1940 at Cosala, Mexico to Arnulfo Ayala and Emilia (Aragon). She was the oldest of her siblings. She was a business owner, a cosmetologist, a CNA, and a member of the Friendship Baptist Church in Highland. She enjoyed Spanish music, knitting blankets, studying, playing the piano, cooking, and her bible since her salvation was the most important part of her life. Alexandra was very proud of becoming an American citizen.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband Jose Manuel Oramas, her second husband Ben Junior Harris; and siblings Elias, Jesus, Bartolo, Petra, and Lupita.

Survivors include sons Mark Harris (Heather), John Harris (Shirley), JJ Harris, Joshua Harris, Joe Harris, Benny Harris, Jonathan Harris, and siblings Luz Maria (Francisco), Herlinda, Carmelita, Gregorio, Alnulfo, Isidro and fifteen grandchildren; Cheyanne Bradley, Melayne Harris, Elijah Harris, Gideon Harris, Samuel Harris, Isaac Harris, Malachi Harris, Levi Harris, Elliette Harris, and Genevieve Harris, two great-grandchildren; along with a host of other relatives and friends.

Graveside services will be Wednesday, October 22, 2025 at 2:00 P.M. at Cave City Cemetery with Bro. John High officiating.
