Alfred Delorie Candler

Alfred Delorie Candler, 83, of Sidney passed away Tuesday, October 29, 2024 in Batesville. He was born September 18, 1941 to Orie and Lottie (Elumbaugh) Candler. He worked in communications for NASA, was of the Baptist faith, and enjoyed fishing.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Ronnie Candler.

Survivors include his wife of sixty one years, Linda (Evans) Candler of the home; two sons, Roy Candler ( Carol) of Caseyville, IL, Dennis Candler (Sara) of Louisville, KY; one daughter, Lorrie Candler of Athens, AL; one sister, Derlene Doffin of Southside, and four grandchildren, Kara, Jamie, Daniel, and Thomas, along with a host of other relatives and friends.
