Alice Ann Johnson

Alice Ann Johnson, age 74, of Cave City passed away on Sunday, August 21, 2022 at her home. She was born on November 17, 1947 in Cave City, AR to Bruce and Clarene Hunter. She was a jewelry department manager at Wal-Mart and a member of the Mt. View Missionary Baptist Church. Alice enjoyed fishing and playing with her grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Conway Hunter and Ricky Hunter.

She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Jimmy Johnson of the home; two sons, Bill Johnson (Rita) of Batesville and Eddie Johnson (Amy) of Cave City; two brothers, Max Hunter (Jackie) of Cave City and Anthony Hunter of Batesville; two sisters, Cornellia Landers of Cave City and Glenna Hall of Chattanooga, TN; eighteen grandchildren; one great grandchild; and several nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, August 24, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at the Qualls Funeral Home Chapel in Cave City with Vance Penn officiating. Burial will follow in the Cave City Cemetery.

Visitation will be Tuesday, August 23, 2022 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Aaron Hunter, Jonathan Hunter, Justin Hunter, Austin Hunter, Laddie Hunter and Jonathan Stauffer.

Honorary pallbearer is Dr. Waldrip.

Arrangements are by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City.
