Allen Coates

Allen Coates, 44, of Smithville passed away November 24, 2024 in Smithville. He was born July 2, 1980 in Salem, AR to John Thomas Coates and Joyce Marie DeArmond. He was self employed and a member of Lebanon Baptist Church. He enjoyed fishing, spending time with family, and going hunting.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Joyce Marie DeArmond; grandparents, Ed and Coyla Coates; mother in law, Sandra Self.

Survivors include wife, Cassie Coates, 19 years of the home and their baby boy, Allen Ray Coates Jr.; father, John Coates (Carolyn) of Cave City; brother John Coates Jr. (Lena) of Poughkeepsie; sisters, Bonnie Brock (David) of Cave City and Cindy Morrow (Sherry) of Sidney; father in law, Curtis Rogers of Batesville along with a host of other relatives and friends.

Arrangements by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
