Alvetta Hatfield

Alvetta Hatfield, 89 of Batesville passed away Friday, May 13, 2022.  She was born September 8, 1932 in Poughkeepsie, Arkansas to Orvin and Willie Marie Shirley Anderson.  She was a homemaker and a member of the Powell’s Chapel Methodist Church.  She enjoyed cooking and sewing.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Willis Hatfield and one sister, Rhodella Watkins.

Survivors include one daughter, Karen Holifield (Paul) of Batesville; one granddaughter, Megan Roulier (Pete) of Batesville; one brother, Sam Anderson of Cabot; one sister, Vina Leah Cole of Hereford, Texas; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Graveside services will be Wednesday, May 18, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at the Powell’s Chapel Cemetery near Evening Shade.  Arrangements are by Qualls Batesville Funeral Service.

Visitation will be Tuesday, May 17, 2022 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Honorary pallbearers are Boyce Watkins, Vaughn Watkins, Sam Anderson, Sean Love, Joshua Love and Mike Love.
