Annie Dell Sanders

Annie Dell Sanders, 83, of Evening Shade passed away Thursday, June 18, 2026 in Batesville. She was born August 3, 1942 in Marks, MS to Floyd and Mary Kimbrell. She was a homemaker and of the Pentecostal faith. Annie enjoyed being in the outdoors: gardening, working in her yard, hunting and fishing.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 61 years, Gerald Richard Sanders; one brother, Hubert Kimbrell and one sister, Betty Wroten.

Survivors include one son, Richard Gerald Sanders (Tammy) of AZ; four daughters, Cherylene Slade of Evening Shade, Kimberly McFarlin of Hardy, Traci Sanders of Cherokee Village, Shawna Wells of Evening Shade; two brothers, Roy Kimbrell of Williford, Pat Kimbrell (Cindy) of Lepanto; three sisters, Rosie Fritz of Southside, Margie McEachearn of Poughkeepsie, Pearl Dean Overton of Williford; sixteen grandchildren; thirty two great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren, along with a host of other relatives and friends.

Graveside services will be Monday, June 29, 2026, 10:00 a.m. at the Evening Shade Cemetery with Bro. John High officiating.
