Ben Vickers

Ben Vickers, 39 of Batesville died Thursday, October 3, 2019. He was born July 3, 1980 in Batesville, Arkansas to Larry and Marsha Lancaster Vickers. He was kitchen manager for Community School Inc. in Batesville and a longtime paper carrier for the Arkansas Democrat Gazette. He was a member of Central Avenue United Methodist Church in Batesville.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Marsha Lancaster Vickers; paternal grandparents, Ford and Eula Jean Vickers and maternal grandparents, Greer and Laverne Lancaster.

Survivors include his wife, Laura Hughes Vickers; sons, Nathan Henry Vickers and Griffin Allen Vickers and daughter, Shaylee Elizabeth Vickers all of the home; his father and step-mother, Larry and Marie Vickers of Marcella; brothers, Austin Vickers (Candace) of Pleasant Grove, Chuck Vickers and Jerrad Zeimet (Sabrina) both of Southside; sisters, Amie Campbell (Thomas) of Southside and Crystal Boyd of Marcella; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, October 8, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at the Central Avenue United Methodist Church in Batesville with Rev. Paul Seay officiating. Burial will follow in the Holcombe Cemetery located near Charlotte with arrangements by Qualls Batesville Funeral Service of Batesville.
Visitation will be Monday, October 7, 2019 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Cris Gosser, Colton Vickers, Hayden Vickers, Logan Vickers, Jarett Vickers, Christian Campbell, Treyce Wheeler and Maeson Wheeler.

Honorary pallbearer is Bryson Vickers.
