Betty Milligan Duncan

Betty Milligan Duncan, 85 of Poughkeepsie died Monday, February 25, 2019. She was born March 24, 1933 at Batesville, Arkansas to George Leroy and Lucy Carmen Patterson Milligan.  She was a homemaker and a member of  Poughkeepsie Church of Christ.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, John E. Duncan; brothers, Owen Milligan and Virgil “Dick” Milligan and sisters, Margaret Nell Milligan and Ruby Smith.

Survivors include sons, Thomas Duncan (Evelyn) of Batesville, James Duncan (Cindy) of Poughkeepsie and Daniel Duncan (Christy) of Searcy; brother, Harry Milligan of Little Rock; sister, Pearl Isley of Batesville; 8 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be Thursday, February 28, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at Poughkeepsie Church of Christ with Troy Henley officiating.  Burial will follow in Powell’s Chapel Cemetery near Evening Shade.  Arrangements by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City.

Visitation will be Wednesday, February 27, 2019 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Garrett Duncan, Philip Duncan, Lance Duncan, Gary Mason, Chuck Mason and Rick Isley.

Honorary pallbearers are her nephews.
