Betty McClusky

Betty Ann McClusky, 93, of Southside passed away August 10, 2022 in Southside. She was born January 31, 1929 at Magness to Elvin and Ruby Young. She retired from International Shoe Factory and was a member of the Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Southside. Betty loved to spend time with family at the holidays and served the Lord faithfully through her church for over sixty years.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Charles McClusky; two brothers; one sister and a great great nephew.

Survivors include Vicki Chisam of Batesville, who she considered a daughter; Kirby Townsley, who she considered a granddaughter; Kirby’s children, Charlie Donna and Kylee Townsley; two nephews, Gary Young (Mavis) and Jimmy Young (Diane); great nieces and nephews, Spencer Young, J.T. Young, Colton Young, Tara Crowson, Randi Young, Jodie Young, Skyler Young and Brighton Young.

Funeral Services will be Sunday, August 14, 2022, 2:00 P.M. at the Mt. Zion Baptist Church of Southside. Burial will follow in the Roselawn Cemetery at Batesville.

Arrangements by Qualls Batesville Funeral Service.

Visitation will be 1:00 P.M. until service time at the church.

Pallbearers will be J.T. Young, Colton Young, Spencer Young, Victor Townsley, Steve Henderson and Kirby Townsley.
