Betty Sue Rathbone

Betty Sue (Conard) Rathbone 72, passed away peacefully on May 29, 2025 in Cave City, Arkansas.

She is preceded by her mother Geneva Bradley and father Floyd Conard Sr. Her late husband Roger Rathbone, son Scotty Mills, sisters Barbara Rogers and Linda Gentry.

Surviving daughters Angela Mills of Lexington NC, and April Bradley of Waynesville NC. Sisters Alice Bradley and Gracie Judd both of Waynesville, NC and brother Floyd Conard Jr. (Margaret) of Riceville, TN. Also 6 grandchildren , Cody Mills, (Tanya )Felicia Mitchell (Seth), Andrew Mills, Dakota Bradley (Justin), Destiny Bradley (Levi), Dylan Bradley (Lexee) 13 great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Betty was born in Bryson City, NC on February 20, 1953. She was a devoted daughter, mother, wife, aunt and friend to her family. Betty was fiery, wild, loving a true mountain woman. She enjoyed the simple things in life, family, good food, and music. You wouldn't be able to keep her from her soap operas. Betty had a love for life and enjoyed it to the fullest. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. The family would like to thank her companion Charles Beck of Cave City, Arkansas for taking amazing care of and loving her. We are so very grateful for you.

A Celebration of life will be held at a later date.
