Bobby Joe Campbell

Bobby Joe Campbell, 85, of Sandtown passed away Friday, December 26, 2025 in Sandtown. He was born November 9, 1940 in Sandtown to Earnest and Belva (Hastings) Campbell. He was a former Heavy Equipment Operator at Atlas Asphalt and attended the Church of God in Cave City. He enjoyed farming, working and hunting.

He is preceded death by his parents; his brothers, J.A. Campbell and Jerry Campbell; and his sisters, Freda Thomas, Cleva Lesley Carter, Wanda Roach and Nina Carter.

He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Dana Wood Campbell of the home; daughters, Bertha Tugwell (James) and Remonia Stroud (Tim); his brother, Gary Campbell (Charlotte); his sister, Shirley Earnestine Hoover (Mac); four grandchildren, Amanda, Jarrod, Bobby and Clayton; and five great grandchildren, Briley, Jonah, Cole, Barrett and Bennett; along with other relatives and friends.

Graveside services will be Tuesday, December 30, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. at the Lee’s Chapel Cemetery in Sandtown with Bro. Bobby Sanders officiating.
