Carl Gene Anderson

   Carl Gene Anderson, 78 of Batesville passed away Friday, May 7, 2021.  He was born August 21, 1942 in Sandtown, Arkansas to Alfus and Ellie (Hightower) Anderson.  He was a retired supervisor for the Arkansas Highway and  Transportation Department and of the Baptist faith.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Terry Ann Anderson; one brother, Bobby Anderson and three sisters, Zela Ross, Marie Page and Rhudene Winkle.

Survivors include two sons, Corky Anderson (Melisa) of Bryant and Mark Anderson (Neisha) of Batesville; six grandchildren, Brittney, Bryson, Julia, Landon, Jenna and Grant; three great grandchildren, Henrietta, Cale and Tessa and a host of other relatives and friends.

Graveside services will be Monday, May 10, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at the Campground Cemetery at Bethesda with Bro. Bobby Shepherd officiating.  Arrangements are by Qualls Batesville Funeral Service.
