Charles R. "Pete" Anderson

Charles R. “Pete” Anderson, 78, of Batesville died Wednesday, January 23, 2019. He was born June 2, 1940 at Westminster, Texas to Charles Fletcher and Lena Faye Grady Anderson. He was retired from GDX in Batesville, a U.S. Navy Veteran, and of the Baptist faith.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Rheba Anderson; and three brothers, Richard Anderson, James Anderson, and Robert Anderson.

Survivors include one son, Jerry Anderson of Batesville; one daughter, Deborah Strother (Jeff) of Hutchinson Mtn.; one brother, Glen Anderson of Texas; one sister, Alice Wycough of Harrison; 8 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Memorial visitation will be Monday, January 28, 2019 from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. at the Qualls Batesville Funeral Service Chapel.
