Charles Lee Thompson, 69, of Batesville, Arkansas passed away Wednesday, September 9, 2026 in Southside, Arkansas. He was born February 4, 1957 in Ripley, Tennessee to William G. Thompson and Annlou Thompson. He was an Army National Guard veteran and a member of the Desha First Baptist Church. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and riding motorcycles (biker Sundays).

He was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his wife of 22 years, Diana Thompson of the home; his son, Bobby Thompson (Stephanie); his daughter, Mary Ann Clem (Daniel); his brother, Edward Thompson; his step brother, Darryl Thompson; his half-brother, William John Thompson; his step sister, Darlene Thompson; four grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, September 16, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. at the Qualls Batesville Funeral Service Chapel with Bro. Chuck Miller officiating. Burial will follow with Military Honors at Egner Cemetery located in Salado.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, September 15, 2026 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Eric Butler, Houston Butler, Garry Cooper, Garry Cooper Jr., Adam Martin and Keith Young.

Honorary pallbearers are Bob Tadlock, David Martin, Dave Martin, Greg Hazelrigg, Tim Thompson, Tony Thompson, and all of the bikers that participated in Bikers Sunday.

Arrangements are by Qualls Funeral Homes.
