Charlotte Ann Clay

Charlotte Ann Clay, 69, of Sidney, Arkansas passed away Sunday, June 14, 2026 at Batesville, Arkansas. She was born October 5, 1956 in Ottowa, Kansas to Kenneth and Beverly Massengale. Charlotte enjoyed playing games on her phone, butterflies, her cat, Kensie, her fur babies, Pomeranians, Mountain Dew and Dr. Pepper, named after her favorite drinks.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Rick Ward; and her stepmother, June Massangale.

She is survived by her husband of five years, Carl Dean Clay; a stepdaughter, Amanda Clay; her brothers, Kenneth Earl Massengale Jr. (Julie) and Keith Massengale (Tina); her sister, Karla Willcut (Dean); two grandchildren, Iva Starkey and Rowen Starkey; many nieces and nephews; along with a host of other relatives and friends.

Celebration of Life services will be held at a later date.
