Crystal Kaye Mabes

Crystal Kaye Mabes, 39 of Newark passed away Tuesday, November 23, 2021 at her home.  She was born September 23, 1982 in Seattle Washington. She worked for Lacroix Optical in Batesville and previously worked for Flash Market Citgo in Cave City.  She was a member of the Cave City Church of God.

She was preceded in death by her father, Billy Wayne Mabes and her grandparents, Allen and Marie Porterfield and Rufus and Essie Mabes.

Survivors include one son, Prechton Wilkerson of Cave City; one daughter, Alissa Elliott of St. Joe; her mother and stepfather, Max and Vicki Burge of Cave City; honorary stepfather, Gene Fischer; two brothers Jason Mabes (Lisa) of Grange and Michael Mabes of Tennessee; two sisters, Cynthia Taylor of Tennessee and Margie Mabes of Washington; one granddaughter, Adalynn Kaye Shockey of St. Joe; and a host of other relatives and friends.

A memorial visitation will be held Saturday, November 27, 2021 from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. at the Qualls Funeral Home Chapel in Cave City.
