Danny L. Jeans

Danny L. Jeans, 67 of Poughkeepsie died Saturday, July 20, 2019. He was born September 10, 1951 in Rogers, Arkansas to Leon and Sarah Lou West Jeans.  He was an over the road truck driver for many years and retired from Peco Foods in Batesville.  He was of the Pentecostal faith.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Roger Jeans.

Survivors include his wife Phyllis Jeans of the home; two daughters, Angela Guinnip (Woodrow) and Athena Burrus (Chris) both of Evening Shade; two sisters, Linda Bertram (Othnell) of Tennessee and Michelle Hall of Florida; 9 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be Thursday, July 25, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at the Qualls Funeral Home Chapel in Cave City with Bro. Joe Jackson officiating. Burial will follow in the Lancaster Cemetery located near Strawberry.

Visitation will be from 1:00 p. m. until service time at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Joseph Guinnip, Jonathan Guinnip, Leon Guinnip, Kyle Guinnip, Richard Cook and Keith Cook.

Honorary pallbearer is Alaina Morris.
