Danny Lee Smart

Danny Lee Smart, 71, of Spring Mill passed away Wednesday, June 25, 2025 at Batesville. He was born December 16, 1953 at Batesville to Dee and Agnes (Rounds) Smart. He was a deliveryman for Frank Kallsnick, Inc. and attended Oak Hill Pentecostal Church. Danny enjoyed fishing, aggravating people, his grandbabies and spending time with family.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Gary Smart.

Survivors include his wife of 25 years, Shannon (McTigue) Smart of the home; one son, Brandon Smart (Lisa) of Kansas City, MO; four daughters, Amy Declue (Mike) Oak Hill, FL, Tammy Smart of Batesville, Megan McDougal of Jacksonville, Becky Medley (Kerry) of Batesville; one brother, Harold Smart (Ann) of Evening Shade; two sisters, Connie Harris of Batesville, Peggy Holland of Batesville; eight grandchildren, Brayden Neal, Grace Medley, Jody Medley, Isaiah Smart, Madelyn Lynch, Jackson Lynch, Brandon Declue and Heather Declue.

A Celebration of Life will be held Monday, June 30, 2025, 2:00 p.m. at the Qualls Batesville Funeral Service Chapel with Bro. Kenny Tharp and Bro. Tyler Bramlett officiating. Burial will follow at a later date.

The family will greet friends at the funeral home beginning at 1:30 p.m. until service time.
