David Kimmer, 73, of North Little Rock passed away September 22, 2025 at North Little Rock. He was born May 13, 1952 at Batesville, to Samuel Wesley Kimmer and Betty Rae (Baxter) Kimmer.
He graduated high school in Searcy and later moved to Little Rock where he worked at the University of Arkansas for 15 years. After he retired due to various medical problems, he lived with his mother in Little Rock until her death in 2015.
He is preceded in death by his parents, one daughter, Amber Kimmer, and one sister, Kathy Davis.
He is survived by a niece, Misty Myjak of Little Rock; one uncle, Jim Baxter of Calamine; one aunt, Joy Kimmer of Batesville; one great-neice and two great-nephews all of Little Rock, and several cousins.
There will be a graveside service at New Hope Cemetery in Bethesda on September 25, 2025, at 10:00 AM with Bro. Dennis Gay officiating.
The family wishes to extend special thanks to Shelly and Kevin Ussery for all the errands they ran for David and all the maintenance and various jobs they did around the house. He could not have lived at home as long as he did without them. They went beyond being good neighbors. Thank you.
