Dean Melton

Dean Melton, 73 of Cushman died Wednesday, June 24, 2020.  He was born March 22, 1947 in Cushman, Arkansas to Willie and Bessie Grigsby Melton.  He was a retired brick layer, a U.S. Army Veteran and of the Baptist faith.

He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Rodney Dean Melton and sister, Juanita Dunegan.

Survivors include his wife Marie Melton of Cushman; daughter, Carla Melton-Sterling (Will) of Swifton; sisters, Ida Rawlings (Norman) of Cave City and Vicki Moffitt (Michael) of Batesville; two granddaughters, China and Cheyenne Lawrence; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Graveside memorial services will be held Tuesday, June 30, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. at the Pleasant Valley Cemetery near Cushman with Bro. Carl Blankenship officiating.  Arrangements by Qualls Batesville Funeral Service.
