Doris V. Casper

Doris V. Casper, 88 of Batesville died Monday, March 29, 2021.  She was born July 21, 1932 in Montgomery, Alabama to Roy Pearl and Martha Ruth Miller Strickland.  She was a retired school counselor having worked in Redland California.  She enjoyed knitting, rescuing horses and doing volunteer work for Arkansas Children’s Hospital.  She loved all animals.  She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Batesville.

She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Cynthia A. Nelson; one brother and two sisters.

Survivors include nephews, Bruce and Wayne Strickland; niece, Paula Reynolds and special friend and caretaker, Lydia Duncan of Batesville.

No funeral services are planned.  Arrangements are by Qualls Batesville Funeral Service.
