Doris May Johnson, 77 of Smithville passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 13, 2024 surrounded by her loved ones. She was born on December 15, 1946 in Coldwater MO to Marvin and Lula Justine. She was a homemaker and the bestest grandmother ever. 

She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years Olen, her parents Marvin and Lula Justine, her son Jeffrey, her sister Sarah Snider, her sister Delores Huggins and her brother Marvin Justine. 

Survivors include her four daughters, Shirley Brown Kraft of St. Louis MO, Pamela Dasher of Boston MA, Brenda Card of Collierville TN and Lissa Ferry of Rolla MO, two sisters Florence Brewer of Carlyle IL and Francis Pugliese of St. Louis MO, 15 grandchildren, 38 great grandchildren and 25 great great grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be Monday, November 18, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. at the Qualls Funeral Home Chapel in Cave City with John High officiating. Burial will follow in the Buchanan Cemetery located near Center with arrangements by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City.

Visitation is Monday, November 18, 2024 from 12:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Jager Suggs, Ian McConnell, Ronnie Brown, John Brown, Joseph Mesey and Tammy Niswander.
