Dorothy Yvonne McAllister

Dorothy Yvonne McAllister, 95 of Sun City, CA passed away Thursday, October 23, 2025 in Batesville, Arkansas. She was born February 19, 1930 in Bridgehampton Township, MI to Marcus and Helen (McGregor) Bowerman. She was a homemaker and a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Dorothy enjoyed golf, shuffleboard, taking care of her family, especially the grandchildren and was a Women's Horseshoe Champion.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 68 years, Donald McAllister; two sons, Larry McAllister, Dennis McAllister and one grandson, Larry McAllister, Jr.

She is survived by two sons, Gerald McAllister, Ronald McAllister; one daughter, Marilyn McAllister; one sister, Doris Williams; nine grandchildren, Dennis Jr., Crystal, Jonathan, Lisa, Carrie, Heather, Danette, Jammie, Andrew; several great and great-great grandchildren.
