Dowel Sauvage, 75, of Cave City, Arkansas passed away on Tuesday, January 30, 2024 in Cave City. He was born December 8, 1949 in Detroit, Michigan to Paul and Ruby Sauvage. He was a Master Mason 3rd Degree at the Gainsboro Masonic Lodge #258 and he was also a York Rite Mason in Batesville. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, reading and time spent with his grandchildren and great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Vicki Sauvage; and his brothers, Chuck and Mike Sauvage.

He is survived by his daughter, Tammy Davis of Cave City, Arkansas; his son, Randy Sauvage of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; his three grandchildren, Kristen Smart (J.D), Chase “Tator” Davis (Beth) and Layne Davis; his four great grandchildren, Kenslee Smart, Klaire Smart, Kase Smart and Ruby Davis; his brother, Jeff Sauvage; and his sister, Patricia; several nieces and nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends.

A memorial service will be held Tuesday, February 6, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. at the Qualls Funeral Home Chapel in Cave City with Larry Sellers officiating. Burial will follow in the Cave City Cemetery.

A visitation will be held Tuesday, February 6, 2024 from 1:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.

Arrangements are by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City.
