Edward W. O'Neill, Jr.

Edward W. O’Neill, Jr, 81, of Batesville passed away on Monday, March 11, 2024 in Batesville.  He was born May 27, 1942 in Boston, Massachusetts to Edwin and Rita (LeGrice) O’Neill.  He was a member of the Seabees in the United States Navy and a member of the Harrison Street Church of Christ in Batesville.

Edward enjoyed hunting, fishing, cooking and telling tales.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Doris O’Neill.

Survivors include three daughters; Kelly Russell (Edward) of Linthicum, MD, Maureen O’Neill (Mark) of Crystal Lake, IL and Tracy Martin (Thomas) of Florida; a stepson, William Taylor (Aundria) of Batesville; twelve grandchildren and three great-grandchildren as well as his care givers; Pauletta Littleton and Bettie Magness both of Cave City along with a host of other relatives and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, March 15, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. at the Harrison Street Church of Christ in Batesville with Steve Smith officiating.

Arrangements are by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City.
