Ethan William Dorris

Ethan William Dorris, 17 of Clever, Missouri died Tuesday, December 1, 2020.  He was born November 5, 2003 in Batesville, Arkansas to Karry Dale and Autumn Marie Childers Dorris.  He was an eleventh grade student at Nixa High School in Nixa, Missouri.  He enjoyed music, fishing, bowling, riding dirt bikes and swimming.  He loved doing back flips and you never knew when he might do one.

He was preceded in death by  great grandmother, Mary Watson.

Survivors include his father and step-mother, Karry Dorris and Janee Timmons of Clever Misssouri; his mother, Autumn Dorris of Pocahontas; two brothers, Hunter Dorris of Pocahontas and Xander Dorris, of Clever, Missouri; one sister, Gracie Burgess of Pocahontas; grandparents, James and Cheryl Sherrill of Cave City, Gary Dorris of Cave City, Tony and Carol Means of Clever, Missouri, Terry and Lynn Cox of Floral and Gary and Nancy Childers of Lonoke; great grandfather, James Watson of Floral; aunts and uncles, Megan and Chase Huddleston of Pocahontas, Jeremy and Jessica Ward of Walnut Ridge, Corrina Schmierer of Atlanta, Georgia, Chris and April Dorris of Cave City, Jacob Timmons and Grace Ross of Nixa, Missouri, Derrick Means and Stephanie Cogswell of Nixa, Missouri, Hope Sherrill of Batesville and Robert Watson of Batesville; cousins, Blaine, Dylan and Eli Huddleston of Pocahontas, Ava, Charlie and Jayce Ward of Walnut Ridge, Carter and Elizabeth Lunde of Walnut Ridge, Eastin and Huck Schmierer of Atlanta, Georgia; Jody and Makayla Dorris of Midway, Tucker, Eli and Kinleigh Timmons of Nixa, Missouri, Sisilia Cogswell and Tierney Means of Nixa, Missouri and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be Sunday, December 6, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at the Qualls Batesville Funeral Service Chapel with Kenny Townsley officiating.  Burial in the Pine Grove Cemetery in Floral.

Visitation from 1:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Dylan Huddleston, Travis Dockins, Trevor Dockins, Abe Moore, Justin Weld and Devin Owen.

Honorary pallbearers are Blaine Huddleston and Anthony Lehman.
