Florence M. McClure

Florence Milligan McClure, 97 of Batesville passed away on Saturday, February 13, 2021.  She was born on February 7, 1924 in Batesville, Arkansas to Benjamin and Martha Milligan.

Florence was a member of the Asbury Methodist Church of Batesville.  For many years, she was the bookkeeper for the McClure Plumbing Company, a family owned business.  The joy of her life was spending time with her family, especially her beloved four grandsons and five great grandchildren.

Florence was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Burnell McClure, Sr. and six sisters.

She is survived by two children, Burnell “Mac” McClure, Jr. and Laura Grace; four grandsons, Chad McClure (Lorrie), Wesley McClure, Christopher Grace and Philip Grace (Melanie) and five great grandchildren, Mallory McClure, Matthew McClure, Annie McClure, Garrett Grace and Anna Grace.

The family wishes to graciously thank Elmcroft Assisted Living of Maumelle, Arkansas for their loving compassionate care for Florence.

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the family will honor Florence’s life with a private graveside service.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Baptist Health Foundation or a favorite charity.
