Florence Louise Troop

Florence Louise Troop, 87, of Poughkeepsie passed away Thursday, January 23, 2025 in Poughkeepsie. She was born January 31, 1937 in Piggott to William Lamp and Virginia (Fuller) Farra. She was a chemical operator and a member of the Church of Christ. She enjoyed fishing, gardening, cooking, and spending time with her grandbabies.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Oddie Troop; two brothers, William (Billy) Lamp Jr. and Dean Lamp.

Survivors include one son, William Hendrix of Poughkeepsie; one daughter, Reba Troop of Poughkeepsie; four sisters, Linda Martin, Joyce Spiecher, Ruth Hooper, and Lois Webb; four grandchildren, Chris Troop (Sheri), CJ Yarbrough, Tammy Hendrix, and David Paige; several great grand children along with a host of other relatives and friends.

Arrangements by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City.

A private Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
