George Kempf

George Kempf, 104, of Batesville passed away on Tuesday, November 8, 2022. He was born June 9, 1918 in Bear Creek, WI to Carlton and Beulah Kempf. He was a retired salesman for Arizona Egg Company. He was a Mason and attended the Mt. Harmony Free Will Baptist Church. He enjoyed playing cards, fishing and gardening.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Earline Kempf and two brothers.

He is survived by two sons, Michael Kempf (Julia) of Batesville, AR and John Kempf of Scottsdale, AZ; one-step son, Glen Burroughs of Saffell, AR; two step daughters, Cheryl Eliason of Utah and Michelle Kiplinger of Jonesboro, AR; six grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren; and several other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 12, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at the Qualls Batesville Funeral Service Chapel with Stanley Vandergrift officiating. Burial will follow in the Union Cemetery in Dowdy, AR with arrangements by Qualls Batesville Funeral Service.

Visitation will be Saturday, November 12, 2022 from 1:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be his family.
