Henry Clay Campbell

August 4, 1943 — March 31, 2021

Henry Clay Campbell, 77 of Evening Shade passed away, Wednesday March 31, 2021 at his home.  He was born August 4, 1943 in Batesville, Arkansas to Henry Hubert and Sarah Virginia (Blankenship) Campbell.  He was a retired heavy equipment operator and a member of Bear Creek Church in Evening Shade.  He loved hunting and fishing.

He was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers, Kenneth, Jimmy, Paul and Bill Campbell and two sisters, Sue Romaro and Cleva Topia.

Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Linda Haley Campbell; one son, Bobby Campbell (Patsy) and one daughter, Lisa Riley all of Evening Shade; five grandchildren, Wendy Miller (Jason), Heather Phillips (Brian), Hunter Campbell (Heather), Tommy Campbell and Sabra Smith (Ryan); ten great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be Monday, April 5, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at the Qualls Funeral Home Chapel in Cave City with Bro. Ken Light officiating.  Burial will follow in the Bear Creek Cemetery at Evening Shade.

Visitation will be Sunday, April 4, 2021 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Tommy Campbell, Hunter Campbell, Garrett Haley, Ryan Smith, Brian Phillips and Jason Miller.

Honorary pallbearers are Lonnie Haley and Robert Mitchell.
