Iva Mae Hunt

Iva Mae Hunt, 87 of Evening Shade passed away Tuesday, May 11, 2021 at her home.  She was born June 13, 1933 in Lafe, Arkansas to Hezzie and Flora (Short) Turman.  She was a homemaker and a member of Calvary Baptist Church at Evening Shade.

She was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers, Richard, Ray and Terry Turman.

Survivors include her husband of 69 years, Wilson Hunt of the home; two sons, Bill Hunt of Olive Branch, Mississippi and Randy Hunt of  Searcy; three daughters, Sherry Spearman (Richard) of Batesville, Teresa Bathgate (Wes) of Long Beach, California and Rita Wagner (Steve) of Frazier Park, California; three brothers, Arthur Turman (Barbara) of Paragould, Larry Turman (Patricia) and Joe Lynn Turman both of Lafe; three sisters, Alice Cannon and Ann Willis both of Paragould and Linda Howard of Jonesboro; ten grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be Saturday, May 15, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at the Calvary Baptist Church in Evening Shade with Bro. John Deaton officiating.  Burial will follow in the Calvary Baptist Cemetery.  Arrangements are by Qualls Funereal Home of Cave City.

Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until service time at the church.

Pallbearers will be Randy Hunt, Bill Hunt, Spencer Hunt, Ronald Cannon, Richard Spearman, Mike Overturf and Tyler Deaton.

Honorary pallbearers are the Staff of Amedisys Home Health and the Staff of Legacy Hospice.
