Jacqueline Wilson

Jacqueline Wilson, 85, of Nelsonville passed away peacefully Saturday, May 23, 2026 in Ash Flat. She was born May 3, 1941 in Nelsonville to William Grover Jones and Faye Jones. She served in food service for many years and was a member of the Lebanon Missionary Baptist Church. She enjoyed cooking, needlepoint and was a cancer survivor.

Jackie lived in Nelsonville and attended Poughkeepsie High School, where she helped her parents run Jones Grocery. She married Wandon Wilson and resided in East Moline, IL until Wandon retired from Case/IH. She then moved to Calamine to be around all of her friends and family.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Pam Wilson; two brothers, Frank Jones, WG Jones Jr. and one grandson, Nicholas Burtenshaw.

Survivors include one son, Tony Jones (Sondra) of Searcy; one daughter, Angela Wilson of Cave City; four grandchildren, Kristina Halfacre, Jacquelyne Johnson (Drew), Joshua Burtenshaw, Eric Burtenshaw; six great grandchildren, Bradley Burtenshaw, Dalylia Burtenshaw, Brianna Burtenshaw, Ben Burtenshaw, Jack Jones Halfacre and June Margaret Johnson, along with a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, May 27, 2026, 2:00 p.m. at the Lebanon Missionary Baptist Church with Bro. Phillip Lewallen and Bro. Boyce Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in the Lebanon Cemetery under the direction of Qualls Funeral Homes.

Visitation will be Wednesday, May 27, 2026 from 1:00 p.m. until service time at the church.

Pallbearers will be Kenneth Seat, Stacy Jones, Dwayne Jones, Jared Jones, Zach Baxter, Ryder Baxter, Randy Smith and Jeff Huskey.

Honorary Pallbearers are Stan Jones, Keith Wilson, Jim Lemaster, Randy Jones and Allen Jones.
