James Franklin (Frank) Estes of Cave City, Arkansas, went to be with the Lord August 9, 2024 at the tender age of 91. He was born April 20, 1933 to Floyd and Hazel Estes of El Reno, Oklahoma, where he lived until joining the US Army during the Korean War. Frank worked for John Deere for many years before becoming a mail carrier for the US Postal Service until his retirement. He proudly attended First Baptist Church in Cave City.
He is survived by his daughter, Deann Vichkon of Cave City; son, Dan Estes of Roxboro, NC; sisters, Ruth Jean Dodd, Nancy Abshire, and Margaret Christian; brothers, David Estes, Gene Estes, and Leon Estes. He is also survived by his grandchildren Kim Quinn and Shawna Kelly; great-grandchildren, Kendie and Cora Quinn, Micah, Caleb, Isaiah, Carson, and Madison Kelly.
He was preceded in death by his wife Dorothy Estes, parents, Floyd and Hazel Estes, sister Juanita Parker, and grandson, Chris Vichkon.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the First Baptist Church of Cave City on September 14, 2024 at 12:30 p.m. Bro John Sanders officiating.
