James Stanley Linck, age 73, died August 6, 2021, at Care Manor Nursing Home, Mountain Home, AR after a brief battle with cancer. Jim was born May 7, 1948, in Flippin, AR to Ike K. and Velma L. (Poole) Linck. In 1968, he enlisted in the U.S. Army, serving as a Green Beret, and achieving rank of Staff Sergeant. Following his discharge in 1984, he graduated from Williams Baptist University. Jim was a die-hard St. Louis Cardinals fan and loved the thrill of seeking treasure with his metal detector. He is survived by his four daughters: Erika Hagood and fiancé, Russ (Johnson), Pocahontas, AR; Rebecca Baron and husband, Robert, Rincon, GA; Jennifer Jolly and fiancé, Chris (Unzuetta), Mt. Pleasant, MI; Cora Schrage, and husband, James, Roscommon, MI; twelve grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Jim is also survived by his two brothers and sister: John Linck and wife, Susan, Maumelle, AR; Mary Kay Wright and husband, Jerry, West Plains, MO and Kelley Linck and wife, Julie, Little Rock, AR. He is preceded in death by his parents, wife, and twin infants. Jim was of the Southern Baptist faith and loved a good, hearty discussion of the Word.
