James Dale Royal

James Dale Royal, 59 of Evening Shade passed away Thursday, April 29, 2021.  He was born February 12, 1962 in Batesville, Arkansas to Malvern Leon and Patricia Ann (Johns) Royal.  He was a pipefitter and a member of the Main Street Church of Christ in Evening Shade.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Delzo and Verda Royal and Conway and Etheleen Johns.

Survivors include his wife, Charolette Royal; one son Joseph Royal (Maddi) of Cave City; two daughters, Jessica Royal of Evening Shade and Jamie Hill (Ryan) of Bethesda; his parents, Leon Royal of Evening Shade and Patricia Royal of Cave City; two sisters, Ginger Clark (Lonnie) of Mountain View and Angela Sutherland (Brien) of Concord; two grandchildren, Jovie Royal and Baby Hill; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, May 4, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at the Qualls Funeral Home Chapel in Cave City with David Cooper officiating.  Burial will follow in the Bear Creek Cemetery in Evening Shade.

Visitation will be Monday, May 3, 2021 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Jim Shands, John Shands, Josh Shands, Scott Carter, Steve Miller and Rodney Ford.
