Jean Seat

Jean Seat, 94 of Desha passed away Tuesday, May 4, 2021.  She was born October 17, 1926 in Wichita, Kansas to Guy and Ruth (Overley) Hill.  She was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Christ.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Oliver Seat and a brother, Lawrence Hill.

Survivors include one son, Robert Seat and his wife Joanne of Batesville; two grandchildren, Angela Sharrow of Bono and Rob Seat and wife Jessica of Cave City; four great grandchildren, William Sharrow, Elisabeth Sharrow, Bryon Seat and Joanne Mae Seat; one great great grandchild, Everett Trowbridge and a host of other relatives and friends.

Graveside services will be Friday, May 7, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at the Alderbrook Cemetery in Desha with Jeff Eddy officiating.  Arrangements are by Qualls Batesville Funeral Service.
