Jeff L. Bristow, 82, of Smithville, Arkansas passed away Thursday, August 27, 2026 in Smithville. He was born March 11, 1944 in Smithville, Arkansas to Leland Paul Bristow and Minnie Louise Wildrick. He was a logger for many years and a member of the Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, being a lumber jack, his family, and God.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Arvie Jean Bristow; his brothers, Ray Bristow, Lewis Bristow, Frank Bristow, Roger Bristow, and Stevie Bristow; his daughter, Teresa Ann Bristow; and his infant sister, Rose Marie Bristow.

He is survived by his son, Jeffery Bristow (Laura); his daughter, Shannon Brown (Wayne); his brothers, Scotty Bristow (Ann), Thomas Bristow (Gerry), and Truman Bristow; his sister, Charlotte Heller; eight grandchildren, Jason, Jessica, Jordan, Kirk, Samantha, Lonnie, Matthew, and Tara; and twenty-six great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Monday, August 31, 2026 at 12:00 p.m. at the Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church in Strawberry with Bro. Roger Randolph and Bro. Brandon Jackson officiating. Burial will follow in the Dry Creek Cemetery in Lynn.

Visitation will be Monday, August 31, 2026 from 11:00 a.m. until service time.

Pallbearers will be John Richmond, Chuck Rush, Billy Dixon, Kaydeem Wagoner, Kiefer Wagoner, and Joseph Pearson.

Honorary pallbearers are Alton Boyd and Brayden Pearson.

Arrangements are by Qualls Funeral Homes.
