Joy R Sample

Joy R. Sample, 80, of Pleasant Plains died Thursday, September 6, 2018. She was born October 8, 1937 at Fisher, Arkansas to Tom and Alice Terwilliger.  She was a retired salesperson for Acme Brick and attended Banner Church of Christ.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Troy Sample; brother, William Terwilliger; and sister, Dorothy Grimm.

Survivors include her husband, LeeRoy Weaver of the home; three sons, Glen Sample (Carla), Scott Sample (Brenda), and Aaron Sample (Sammy) all of Pleasant Plains; three stepsons, Michael Kaiser (Caroline) of Mississippi, Bill Weaver of Jonesboro, and Darian Weaver (Samantha) of Searcy; two sisters, Elberta Garrison of Bald Knob and Clara Keifer of Weiner; grandchildren, Shelby Sample (Kim), McKenna Renae Sample, Jessie Sample, Tyler Sample, Riley “J.B.” Sample, Madison Sample, McKenzie Sample, Kingston Sample, Josh Weaver, Wyatt Barnes, Sara Grace Weaver, and Jeremy Wade; great-granddaughter, Fallon Sample; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Memorial services will be Saturday, October 6, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at the Independence Missionary Baptist Church of Pleasant Plains. Arrangements by Qualls Batesville Funeral Service.
