Joyce Maxine Huckabee

Joyce Maxine Huckabee, 84 of Poughkeepsie died Sunday, June 28, 2020 at her home. She was born July 16, 1935 in Fort Worth, Texas to Tom and Alice Allen White.  She was a homemaker and worked several years at Poughkeepsie School as lunch room supervisor.  She was a member of Pleasant Ridge Community Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Allen Smithson; two brothers and two sisters.

Survivors include her husband of 58 years, Lloyd Huckabee of the home; three sons, Rick Huckabee of Stewart, Florida, Jack Smithson (Darlene) of Chatsworth, Georgia and Doyan Huckabee (Samantha) of Poughkeepsie; several grandchildren; great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.

Graveside services will be held Wednesday, July 1, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at the Spotts Cemetery located at Poughkeepsie with Bro. Jim Pagan officiating. Arrangements by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City.

Visitation will be Tuesday, June 30, 2020 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Eric Johnson, Tommy Pagan, Mike Huckabee, Brad Huckabee, Zac Huckabee, Nathan Huckabee, Sterling Stowers, Spenser Stowers and Samuel Stowers.
