Kara Shayne Watts

Kara Shayne Watts, 24 of Strawberry passed away Monday, April 5, 2021.  She was born July 24, 1996 in Jonesboro, Arkansas to William Shane and Lisa Louise (Gay) Watts.  She received an Associates Degree from UACCB in Batesville and had worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant.  She was of the Baptist faith and attended Believers Community Church in Batesville.  She was also a big supporter of Batesville First Assembly Celebrate Recovery.

She was preceded in death by her great grandparents, Claude and Florine Harris and L.J. and Mary Katherine Gay.

Survivors include her parents, Shane and Lisa Watts of Strawberry; one brother, Levi Watts (Ashley) of Batesville; two nephews, Atalas and Athan Watts; one niece, Leona Watts; her grandparents, Phyllis Harris of Strawberry, Louise and Lester Strauser of Camp and Elbert Lee Gay of Saffell; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Memorial services will be held Saturday, April 10, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at the Philadelphia Missionary Baptist Church in Dowdy with Bro. Dennis Gay officiating.  Arrangements are by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City.
