Katherine Musick Brown

Katherine Musick Brown, 88, of Cave City, Arkansas went to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, March 25, 2026 at Batesville, Arkansas. She was born August 22, 1937 in Sandtown, Arkansas to Winston Wayman “Johnny” Hastings and Mildred Ruth Montgomery. She retired from White Rogers and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Cave City. She enjoyed going to Branson, shopping, gardening and spending time with her beloved family. Her legacy of kindness, love, generosity and encouragement will rest in our hearts as a reminder to put God first and tell our family we love them more.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Bill Musick and Bob Brown; one son, Ricky Musick; one brother, Glen Hastings; an infant sister, Alma Hastings; her sister, Floy Masner; one great granddaughter, Millie Walling, and one son in law, Donis Parsley.

Survivors include her daughter, Martha Parsley; her son, Mitchell Musick (Vicki); her brothers, Donald Hastings, Jeral Hastings (Judy) and Dean Hastings (Jeannie); her sisters, Brenda Simmons (Donald) and Patricia Turnbough (Ed); four grandchildren, Sabrina Parsley, Rachel Parsley, Joshua Musick (Sarah) and Brooke Conyers (Caleb); six great grandchildren, Halle Musick (Chuckie), Billy Musick (Hannah), Gus Musick, Laralyn Walling, Brittnie (Evan) Doyle, and Ethan Walling; along with other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, March 29, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. at the First Baptist Church of Cave City with Bro. Ron Canard and Bro. Daniel Ward officiating. Burial will follow in the Palestine Cemetery in Cave City with arrangements by Qualls Funeral Homes.

Visitation will begin Sunday, March 29, 2026 from 1:00 p.m. until service time at the church.

Pallbearers will be Joshua Musick, Billy Musick, Gus Musick, Chuckie Koch, Caleb Conyers, Jonathan Simmons and Colton Crumbley.

Honorary pallbearers will be Douglas Masner, Timmy Hastings, Jason Hastings, Robert Brockway, Clint Brockway and Mason Simmons.
