Lady Katherine Church

Lady Katherine Church, 65, of Cave City, Arkansas passed away Monday, January 29, 2024 at her home. She was born on December 21, 1958 in Tyronza, Arkansas to Alva and Betty Wood. She was a Registration Specialist for St. Bernard’s. She enjoyed crafts, decorating, reading, her flowerbeds, sewing and going to her grandsons’ ballgames.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Judy Murphy.

She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Jerry Church of the home; one daughter, Raven Dowell; four brothers, Allen Wood, Johnny Wood, Jimmy Wood and Pat Wood; one sister, Robin Nolen; a sister in law, Karen Church; her brother in law, Elton Church; four grandchildren, Haley Dowell, Brent Dowell, Roman Dowell and Ryken Dowell; and other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held Friday, February 2, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. at the Qualls Funeral Home Chapel in Cave City with Phyllis Traughbar officiating. Burial will follow in the Maxville Cemetery.

Visitation will be held Thursday, February 1, 2024 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Jeremy Langston, Tim Chatman, Chris Davis, Mark Church, Eric Murphy and Glyn Dowell.

Honorary pallbearers are Elite Hospice Care and the Case Management Team at White River Health, Cody Mynatt, Jim Gorton and Dr. Ben Owens.
