Laverl (Pete) A. Massey

Laverl (Pete) A. Massey age 95 of Mountain View, AR, passed away December 4, 2018 at the Mountain View Nursing and Rehab Center. He was born at home in Independence County, Arkansas on July 4, 1923 to Carrie Elizabeth Floyd and James Alfred Massey.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, James Alvis Massey, and sister, Lucille Massey Sample.

Survivors include son, Eddie Laverl Massey of California, and sister, Verlene Dobbs of Nashville, Tennessee.

The family would like to give a special thanks to Dr. Zini, the Staff at Mountain View Residential Care and Nursing and Rehab Centers as well as the staff of the Stone County Medical Center for their many years of special care.

Graveside services will be held Friday, December 7, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at the Mt. Zion Cemetery in Banner, Arkansas. Arrangements by Qualls Batesville Funeral Service.
