Lee Neil Bowers Kever, 89, of Batesville passed away December 7, 2025 in Batesville. She was born April 28, 1936 also in Batesville. Her parents were William Bowers and Ollie Mae (Matthews) Bowers. She and O.B. had a farm raising cattle and chickens and she was a homemaker. She enjoyed watching movies, the Razorbacks, her grandkids, and her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 48 years, O.B. Kever, Jr.; eight brothers, Walter Lewis Bowers, Roy Bowers, Carl Bowers, Robert Bowers, William Dial “Rooster” Bowers, Fred Bowers, Harry Bowers, James Lawrence Bowers, and one sister Edith Mae Bowers Krumholz.

Survivors include one son, O.B. Kever III (Shannan); one daughter Judy Merrill (Joe); one brother, Glenn Bowers; three grandchildren, Josie Merrill, Wynston Kever, and Braden Jones.

The visitation will be at Qualls Batesville Funeral Service Chapel on Thursday, December 18, 2025, 4:00 to 6:00 p.m.

 The funeral will be Friday, December 19, 2025, 12:00 p.m. at the Qualls Batesville Funeral Service Chapel with Bro. Tim Landers officiating. Burial will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery located at Wolf Bayou.

Pallbearers will be Michael Bowers, Glenn Bowers Jr., Scott Bowers, Stephen Painter, Braden Jones, and O.B. Kever III. 

Honorary Pallbearers will be Joe Merrill, Wynston Kever, Clyde Bullard and Tommy Tucker.
